New dates are being added for the 2024 Autumn Winter season here at davesharp.org and over on Daves Facebook page.

Dave will be travelling north to Scotland this month and from there will be headed down to Devon.

We would like to thank all who attended Daves appearance with Eddie Macdonald at The Barnoldswick Arts Centre. It was a wonderful weekend of music with Dave and Eddie taking time to meet everyone after the shows.

For everyone who was unable to make it to the North of England for the event we are excited to announce a follow on show with Dave and Eddie. They will once again both be sharing the bill on the 23rd November in London in the intimate setting of the Pizza Express Live venue in Old Holborn.

Further Dave Sharp solo acoustic shows in the Midlands and the south of England are currently being planned so be sure to check in regularly for new dates.

Hi Everybody..

It is Friday morning here on the final day of prep before tomorrows show and the day before Eddie and I meet up at The Arts Centre.

We both have been speaking on the run up to the weekend and are both looking forwards to sharing what is sure to be a great two days of music for the first time in way too long for either of us to remember !!

Over the weekend doors will be open at 12.00 noon and I am very much looking forwards to taking the stage at 1.00pm to kick off the proceedings with a full set of acoustic songs on both afternoons.

There have been rumours of a Q and A taking place on both days, although I have not heard any word as yet of what format this will take and at what point during the shows this will be happening. I hope you all will have your questions to hand and at the ready. With two shows over the weekend I guess if you dont manage to get your questions across on the Saturday you will surely have a second chance on the Sunday !!

Very much looking forwards to seeing you all at The Arts Centre at the weekend and in the meantime,

Friday 6th September 2024.

As a good number of folks will know by now, Dave Sharp and Eddie Macdonald will be coming together under the Orwellian banner of 1984 to share a bill for the first time in many years.

They will each take to the stage at the Barnoldswick Music and Arts Centre in the heart of the Pendle Hills celebrating with artists who all released albums in 1984.

The Alarm released Declaration
Big Country released Steeltown
Icicle Works released Icicle Works
Simple Minds released Sparkle in the Rain

Along with Dave and Eddie, members of Big Country, The Icicle Works and Simple Minds will be performing during the weekend of the 7th and 8th September.

Dave and Eddie will play a matinee show on Saturday 7th September and will appear on a Sunday matinee show on the 8th September. The Saturday show is sold out but there are still a few tickets left for the Sunday show.

All of us here at dave sharp.org are all greatly anticipating this coming weekend in Blackpool and looking forwards to the Friday evening Dave Sharp show at Rebellion 2024.

Dave will be onstage at 7.25pm on Friday on the Almost Acoustic Stage.

We hope you are all as ready as we are for this years event which Dave has told us he has very much been looking forwards to.

Times have been posted for Daves 2024 Rebellion Festival show at the Winter Gardens Blackpool.

Dave will appear on the Almost Acoustic stage on Friday evening 2nd August at 7.25pm.

On the Friday evening bill, amongst a whole host of fine artists, will be Charlie Harper, Swill and Pauline Murray.

News is just in for two Devon Shows in July at The Bicton Inn, Exmouth and a return visit to The Joiners Arms in Bideford.

We hear that Dave has been busy in the studio working on a forthcoming Album which is currently planned for an October release. More news on that to follow in the coming weeks.
